How it works

When you take a photo, your camera or phone embeds hidden data into the file — GPS coordinates, camera make and model, serial number, timestamps, and exposure settings. This data travels with the image whenever you share it online.

This tool draws each image to an HTML Canvas and re-exports it. The Canvas API only copies pixel data, so all metadata is naturally discarded. The result is a clean image at 95% JPEG quality (or lossless PNG) that contains no hidden information.
