About This Tool

How to Use
  1. Choose a PDF or drop it on the page. Every page is shown, and you can zoom or fit it to the width.
  2. Pick a tool: Text, Signature, Image, White-out, Rectangle, Highlight, Pen, Check, Cross or Date. Click or drag on the page to place it.
  3. Use Select to move an object, drag a corner to resize it, press Delete to remove it, and press Ctrl+Z to undo.
  4. If the PDF has form fields, type in the blue fields on the page or in the Form fields panel. Tick Flatten form to make the answers permanent.
  5. Use the page list to rotate, move or remove pages, then click Download PDF.

Tips & Tricks
  • Everything happens in your browser. The PDF is not uploaded and nothing is sent to a server.
  • Password protected PDFs cannot be edited. Unlock the file first, then open the copy.
  • On a phone or tablet, use Select to scroll. A drawing tool takes over touch on the page until you press Escape or pick Select.
  • Text with letters outside the standard PDF fonts, for example Russian or Greek, is saved with the Noto Sans font. Text in other scripts, such as Chinese, or emoji is saved as a picture, so it cannot be selected in the saved file.
  • White-out covers what is under it on the page, but the hidden text may still be in the file. For private data, print the result to a new PDF.
  • Tick Remember in the signature window to keep your signature on this device. It is stored in this browser only.
  • Form fields are drawn as blue boxes in the editor only. The saved PDF keeps the original look of the fields.
